This has been a long time coming, in putting together a central location to share my family and friends recipes and stories about food and drinks.  Over the years, it seems like everything, especially time has sped up, and I find time slowing down when I am in the kitchen.  Let's be real, I AM IN NO WAY A PROFESSIONAL CHEF, but cooking is such a stress reliever and really allows some quality time to be spent with my daughter teaching her the joy's I have experienced in cooking. 


For me the taste of bringing in different types of food into our home is an adventure and fun, but also sharing such great eats with others and seeing their expressions of the different flavors is really where I see such enjoyment.

This blog will be an assortment of "secret" family recipes, recipes that have been picked up through TV, magazines, online sources, friends, as well as recipes that have been tweaked and created new from scratch - The Foster's own version of The Food Network "Chopped".  Not every dish created turns out, that is what makes cooking fun! Learn from my mistakes, my successes, and my adventures.  You see being a full time career women, I travel quite often, so when I am not home cooking, I will get to share cuisines from all over the world with you. The fun part is trying to recreate the tastes of the world right in your very own home.

I will have special guests along the way, my daughter of course being my co-host in creating this blog, and my husband for the most part being the ideal candidate as the resident food/beverage taster.




By great demand - this journey begins, for me and my family to share our cooking adventures, weekly food prepping operations, catering large crowds, and sensational holiday creations.

Happy Thursday to you! I know it has been over a month since my last post, but the Foster family has been hard at work doing a complete Reno on Victoria's playroom.  I will do a post showing our progress of before and after pictures soon. Pickle Cupcakes - WHAT!?  I know, right, crazy.  Well if April Shower's bring Mayflowers, what do Pickle's bring?  They bring one happy friend and colleague of mine.  This recipe all came about as I came across one of her posts on Facebook.  What you don't know is she LOVES pickles and posted this recipe from Delish.  I had to make them for her, because I was just as curious to know what they would taste like. Stubbs Hatch Chile Chicken - Crock Pot

I am always finding quick and easy recipes to prepare during the week because I am a working mom, and all I want to do when I get home is rest my mind and body!  My husband and I went to the grocery store this past weekend, and stumbled across Stubb's Crock Pots.  I normally try my best to not bring my husband or daughter to the grocery store with me, because it is a constant battle of telling them to act their age.  Shopping cart races down the aisles, one of the two passing gas and then rushing to the next aisle so everyone in the store thinks its me, and of course random items showing up in the basket that were not on the grocery list.  Well this time, having the hubby with me turned out to be helpful as he is the one that spotted the Stubb's Crock Pot packets. This is super easy, can be prepared quickly in the morning and allow to cook all day and the only thing you have to do in the evening is shred the chicken and put together your tacos or chicken nachos! Blueberry Pie for the Win!

It is closing in on the end of summer vacation, and September 22nd can't get here fast enough with the official start to fall.  However, in my house, the word fall means one thing and one thing only - FOOTBALL SEASON STARTING! That is our true start to fall in my house, as my husband is the defensive coordinator for one of the biggest and BEST high school football programs in the state of Oklahoma.  I laugh every year because I say "We interrupt this marriage to bring you football season!"  It is so true!  If you know anything about football in the great state of Oklahoma, high school and college games dominate social media with updates and banter back and forth between rivals. For me, it is a time where I get back in the kitchen again, as the hubby is off working late nights and 7 days a week at the field house, it leaves me to my own imagination in the kitchen.  Plus we work on feeding a football program of 175 plus (yes I said 175)!  I am bringing you this bluebe
